Villa Santo Sospir (La)

France, French, 36 mins

  • Director: Jean Cocteau
  • Writer: Jean Cocteau

CGiii Comment

Mrs. Weisweiller's Villa which was decorated by Jean Cocteau.

Cocteau was (apparently) head of the Priory of Sion from 1918 to 1963 - so, supposedly, his art is loaded with all kinds of symbolism.

It's not exactly the most gripping of short films but, because of the name Cocteau, it will always find an audience.

Cast & Characters

Jean Cocteau as Himself;
Edouard Dermithe as Himself;
Francine Weisweiller as Herself
