CGiii Comment

Silly, whimsical gimmicks mar this silly, whimsical, ineptly directed no-laughs comedy.

It's a gender-disguise ditty with all the usual nonsense that goes with such a worn out scenario.

The acting is unlaughably beyond a joke - especially from the heavily accented Rodan - wood has never looked so stiff.

To date, this is Peploe's last indulgence into the world of directing - long may this decade-long hiatus persevere - no discernible talent in evidence.

A gobby disaster.
