With work...this could be developed into something with significance.

Perceptions of the trans*community need to be shown!

The(ir) Blurb...

A short experimental piece about a transgender college student, dealing with being misgendered every day. ::..

Alex was born in a female body and hasn't had the chance yet to transition. His mental image of himself is male, but his peers around him see him as a young woman.

The goal of this film is to visually express gender dysphoria and to have a glimpse of the inner workings of a transgender individual. It is a very personal piece, Writer and Director Sam W. Muehlemann is transgender himself (pre transition, female to male), as well as the crew and cast are members or allies of the LGBT* community.
