DOCUTAH

Monday, 01 November 2021 until Saturday, 06 November 2021

Dixie State University (DSU) in St. George, Utah, presents DOCUTAH 2021, November 1-6, 2021.

In 2020, DOCUTAH moved to a new screening venue, sure to enhance both filmmaker and audience experience - The Megaplex Pineview Theaters in St. George - which affords the highest level of projection and sound.

Eleven years of bringing the best documentaries from around the world to the Red Canyons of Southern Utah. BE PART OF IT! The brainchild of 30-time Emmy Award winning filmmaker and Assistant Professor of Film, Phil Tuckett, DOCUTAH was dubbed one of the “25 coolest film festivals in the world” by Moviemaker Magazine. DOCUTAH films are screened at indoor and outdoor venues among the amazing scenery of Southern Utah. In 2020 DOCUTAH received submissions from all over the world, engaging professional and student filmmakers from 30 different countries. DOCUTAH's DOCtalk series offers insight into the doc making experience. Students, amateur documentarians, patrons and fans can learn more about the filmmaking process from the filmmakers themselves. Submit your film for 2021 and celebrate the art of documentary film at DOCUTAH.
