GAZE is Ireland's national queer film festival, running longer than homosexuality has even been legal in our country. in 2022 we celebrate our 30th Anniversary.

GAZE celebrates LGBTQ+ storytelling. Our exciting programme of films and events engages filmmakers and audiences in a vibrant social experience.

GAZE programmes thematically to explore the many facets of queer life worldwide, expressly including films which deal with the challenges facing our LGBTQ+ siblings wordwide.

In 2021 we launched GAZE West, with funding with the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth. Please see the criteria for submitting to GAZE West.
