CGiii Comment

The opening scene is...horrific - in terms of...writing, acting and cinematography.

Unfortunately, things don't improve...if anything, they get decidedly worse...in this woeful tale of a young man's descent into drugs and prostitution...[yawn].

There is so much wrong with this film - it's difficult to know where to start.

First and foremost, this is nothing but a vanity project for Maso...his vanity is chronically ill-founded, in all his elected departments.

Secondly, a decent camera and/or a decent camera operator would have helped enormously. Thirdly, there is no third...this is bin fodder.

On a brighter note, the only way is up...simply because...it would be utterly impossible not to improve upon this howling disaster.

The(ir) Blurb...

The film follows a young man who is drawn into the dark, sexual underbelly of New York City's gay club scene. Aleksandr (Masó) is a young Russian immigrant alone after the tragic death of his mother. He turns to drugs and renting his body to wealthy men to deal with his loss. Aleksandr finds himself torn apart with a new personality making its way to the surface.
