CinegailesAST - Festival Internacional Gay y Lésbicu d´Asturies

The ASTURIAN FILM FESTIVAL promotes de celebration of the International Gay-Lesbian Film Festival of Asturies, CinegailesAST, that will take place in Xixón (Asturies) in the Auditorium Centru de Cultura Antigu Institutu Asturianu, for promoting in the Asturian Country the gay, lesbian and transgender cinema of all over the world. For it the Festival CinegailesAST accepts any filmwork of this issue in dvd format without any kind of previous conditions.

The festival CinegailesAST will award works in three categories: Best Film, Best Short and Best Documentary, and also Best Actor and Actress, choosen by the audience after each official competitive screening of the films selected for the Festival. The list of winners will also receive some promotion campaigns in press media. The Festival will also give a Honour Award.

Any filmwork selected by the Festival CinegailesAST can participate in any format, preferably in DVD, and with any lenght or year of production, inclosing a tecnical and artistic inscription-file with full information of its filmaker, actors, year of production, length and other data of interest. Submissions can also be made via Festhome at www.festhome.com. Package and postage cost to the Festival will be paid by participants but the Festival CinegailesAST will send back copies to the producers if they ask for it. The Festival CinegailesAST would prefer to receive a list of dialogues if the filmwork is not made in a spanish language. The festival specially thanks the enclosing of copies with subtitles in spanish or english when available, and also recomends to post it remarking it's a Cultural Activity without Commercial Value to avoid taxes. Participating in the Festival CinegailesAST implies the acceptance of its rules and the resolutions of the Organization.
