Well, it ain't no Midnight Express...not by a long shot. Although the similarities are rather uncomfortable. Prison films do - tiresomely - follow the same path...this is no exception.

Falsely accused, legal corruption, unlikely friendships, the violent, the pacifist, the girlfriend...oooh the torture...nothing new.

The erratic, juddery camerawork is a constant distraction.

The story has gaping plotholes and character development is minimal - really, cutting hair is a tired, threadbare epiphanous metaphor.Instantly forgettable.
