Raanan, a middle-aged man, returns to his hometown after thirty years abroad, carrying the weight of an unfinished life. A chance encounter with an elderly stranger stirs buried memories and reopens long-suppressed wounds. Soon after, a brief affair with a much younger man ignites desire, confusion, and shame, sending Raanan into an emotional spiral. Caught between generations, he confronts the distance between who he was, who he pretended to be, and who he might still become. As past and present collide, Raanan is forced to face his internalized homophobia, generational divides, unresolved grief, and the cost of a life lived in retreat.
