Otherness

Alteritats (Otherness) is a documentary that collects the voice of the different lesbian experiences of four generations residing in Catalonia. A very intimate journey of lives that are intertwined and through which we discover what it means to cohabit in a structurally heterosexual world and at the same time be part of the LGTBIQ+ collective. How is oppression lived? How to love? How is life built within this heteronormative world? Alteritats tries to provide answers to all these questions that often remain invisible due to the double fact of being a woman and a lesbian. An emotional and contemporary documentary that brings other possible lives to the screen.
