CGiii Comment

A bride and groom in an arranged marriage are forced to confront the implications of his secret sex life, in this compelling and complex drama.

Saïd seems reluctant to marry, but his Moroccan-born parents insist. He initially tries to make things work with Hadjira, his bride, but they find themselves at odds as they struggle to understand one another. At the same time, his online cruising results in no shortage of takers for ‘Arab thug’. But that only worsens matters. Something’s got to give, as sexual identity and family collide.
