CGiii Comment

We knew...and, we said nothing.

Who are these people!?!

Really...this is the most difficult film to watch.

Yet...François Ozon takes an interesting perspective. This is not a 'gay' film...stated - with [admirable] conviction within the film...pedophiles are not only gay, not only straight...they are pedophiles. And, as it would seem...the church has become, and is...their sanctuary, their playground...why do you think Ratzinger resigned?!? He was those pedophiles' lawyer!

This film concerns itself with those priestly pedophiles [and their victims]...those men who swear an oath...of obedience, of chastity, of celibacy...and, forget [instantly] that they swore on anything at all...when their willies get hard.

These priestly men are scum. And yet, ecclesiastical law protects each and every one of them.

Powerful and condemning!

Alexandre lives in Lyon with his wife and children. One day, he discovered by chance that the priest who abused him to scouts always officiates with children. He then starts a fight, quickly joined by François and Emmanuel, also victims of the priest, to "release their word" on what they suffered.
