A successful patent attorney, Danielle Joy "DJ" Healey, was in the peak of her career when, at 44, she first admitted out loud the secret she'd been hiding for four decades: Danielle is a trans woman. Slowly, over the next several years, DJ shares her secret to her wife, close friends and adult daughters, until in 2017 at the age of 57, DJ finally comes out publicly on Facebook. How does this transition affect her 30-year marriage to her wife Becky, their two daughters, and her prestigious law career in Sugar Land, Texas? As the political landscape evolves and Danielle's world expands, she integrates into the LGBTQ+ community, using her legal prowess to help fight for the rights of her trans and queer brothers, sisters and siblings.
