It's not a great film...by any stretch of the imagination. But...it is a great subject.
Thoth's performance is both exhausting and inaccessible.
Some of his work is truly beautiful, some of it is truly manic.
He has created his own world where he is happiest...a brief glimpse into it is tolerable and interesting - otherwise it is simply a place for him alone.
He - after this film - made the unwise decision to appear on America's Got Talent - it was not a pretty sight.
