We live in a world which struggles to expand its definitions of identity, sexuality and gender every day. One way to ease the struggle is to allow people to get to know someone against whom their minds have formally been shut. That world’s people also battle with identity, a battle which sometimes leads to defeat. One way to help another human being identify themselves is by sharing stories with which they might identify.
If you’ve made a film, 30 minutes or under, which shows the many iterations of identity, we invite you to enter the Audience Awards LGBTQ Film Festival. Though an agenda isn’t necessary to submit, you may experience one of these barrier-breaking benefits by participating.
