CGiii Comment

Italian Neo-realism at its best...seemingly.

This has been hailed as a masterpiece...with bad dubbing and equally bad acting...it is anything but a masterpiece.

But, despite the monumental flaws...it is a deeply moving experience.

The(ir) Blurb...

Ricci, an unemployed man in the depressed post-WWII economy of Italy, gets at last a good job - for which he needs a bike - hanging up posters. But soon his bicycle is stolen.
