It looks like a pilot for a sitcom - thankfully, the sitcom never materialised.

Some will find it cute - due to its age, others, quite rightly, will find it utterly offensive.

It does pose the question: why would gay actors want to portray gay men in such a hideous way?

Aaah the stench of money - wipes out all integrity.
