CGiii Comment
Lack of planning is something many short filmmakers are guilty of...resulting in a less-than-successful film. Another little problem that crops up is...rehearsal...there is no such thing as over-rehearsal.
Lara Zeidan knows how to plan. She knows how to rehearse. She knows how to write...dialogue...that suits her actors.
Three Centimetres is a one-take masterclass. The technical complexity is breathtaking. The conversation is...compulsive and claustrophobic...on a Ferris wheel?!? How can that be?
This is what happens when you plan and rehearse...this is what you get when you have talent.

The(ir) Blurb...
A moment of floating, standstill. Four girlfriends are sitting in the gondola of a Ferris wheel. The camera takes in the view of the Mediterranean sea on the Lebanese coast, watches the girls boarding the gondola, turns a round with them, rides up to the very top. Then, the wheel suddenly comes to a halt and so does the camera. Their conversation has just come to an abrupt end when Manal confesses that she has a girlfriend.
