It's better to have peaked and fallen than never to have peaked at all! So said Icarus!

Success and youth...it's either a match made in heaven...or, a marriage from Hell. Zac Posen experienced both sides...he lapped it up and then died a [metaphorical and monolithic] death.

Young Mr Posen had no humility [who does at that age?]...the older Mr Posen - thankfully - does. As his family forgives some of the atrocious decisions he made...he's on the rise [again]. Hopefully, with maturity and humility, this rise will be more sustained...it's near-to-impossible to pick yourself up and dust yourself off...twice!

This is a candid account of a remarkable career - a career that dreams are made of...and, an even more remarkable fall from grace. The classic: Too much, too soon. Y'see...when you believe in your own hype, the nightmares' ears are pricked, and they seditiously stalk in the background...ready to grab, guzzle and crush. The fashion industry ain't no bed of sweet-smelling roses...it's a lion's den at feeding time.

Mr Posen got out alive...then, threw himself straight back in...some would say...what a foolish thing to do! Not at all, Zac Posen is a designer, that's what he does, that's what he needs to do...he flew, he fell...and, if he keeps his head screwed on and feet firmly planted on terra firma...he will flourish. Talent has a way of showing its beautiful face...again and again.
