CGiii Comment

You can't always get what you want...but, if you've got the cash, it can certainly help.

Is is not the right of every human being to know (of) BOTH parents...to be told the truth about their birth...?

Intelligence doesn't feature highly...in places so idiotic, it will astound.

The legal, ethical and moral minefield of sperm donation...the scene where they interview a potential donor is truly offensive - both parties being guilty...designer babies (uncomfortably close to Eugenics) and a donation for a fuck rather than squirting into a cup! Seedy man!

An unenjoyable, practical film that reeks of irresponsibility, vulgarity and immaturity.

Five of us watched this film - both men and women - and, 5 of us - by the end - were seething with fury.

The(ir) Blurb...

Two Mothers is a drama about a lesbian married couple, Katja and Isabella, who decided to have a child in Germany, a country that imposes so many legal issues, high fees and other obstacles in a very difficult process. They agreed to find a sperm donor but not a father, so they can educate the child without any exterior interference. Like many lesbian couples in Germany they have to find out that the road to a common child is much harder than expected.
