Four Quartets

Country: UK, Language: English, 11 mins

  • Director: Marco Alessi
  • Writer: Marco Alessi
  • Producer: Ksenia Harwood

CGiii Comment

Marco Alessi has managed to capture the joys, desires frustrations and vulnerabilities of a young club kid.

For some, this will resonate. We were fitfully and nostalgically resonated.

Great editing, solid soundtrack complimented - one scene especially - by a fertile and colourful imagination!

Good work.

The(ir) Blurb...

Raf just wants to dance. Over the course of a night out in a gay dive bar, he struggles to find his place amongst the crowd. Four Quartets is a short film about queer community, and belonging. It explores the way our past experiences colour the way we interpret small gestures, social dynamics and our relationship with the room we're in.
