ONENESS is an upcoming 2022 Manipuri language based on the 2013 Gay Honor Killing Case of an 18 year-old Manipuri boy. The case, believed to be one of the rare cases of gay "honor killing" in Northeast India has inspired the movie. ONENESS is the first gay-themed Manipuri film and also the first to explore the little-known and rare phenomenon of men killed and disowned by family members for being gay in the region. Multiple award winning Manipuri filmmaker Priyakanta Laishram directs the film.
