Heklina is the founder and hostess of Trannyshack, currently San Francisco's longest-running drag show. Performing since 1996, she appears in local theater (Sex in the City, Golden Girls, Roseanne parodies) while producing and hosting a variety of events (Trannyshack, Daytime Realness, gay pride activities).

 

From her early days growing up in Iceland, a discharge from the navy, overcoming drugs and alcohol, Heklina has emerged as one of the premiere performers in the alternative drag scene in San Francisco and beyond.
