Jo fought, suffered, was outspoken, let herself down by the press. Still, her message never quite came through. She challenges the very definition of transsexuality by not having the need to make a gender reassignment surgery. In her Murtosa home, where she spends half the year with her partner Alexandre, she built a kind of wall: artworks fill the rooms and, for the first time, she has a sense of peace.
