CGiii Comment

If this film doesn't leave you speechless and breathless...nothing will.

This really has everything...expertly handled by a very talented director...who turns the intensity on a knife-edge...into joy.

Understanding cinematic tension is a gift that few possess...it's all here.

Cinematography...wow. Performances...astounding.

Young Aidan Broderick is incredible...directing kids is a skill few have. Alfie Dale has that skill...and so much more.

Make more films Mr Dale...you have both voice and vision.

A very special film indeed.

The(ir) Blurb...

My Brother is a Mermaid is magical realism about the experiences of a non-binary teenager, as seen through the eyes of their 7 year old brother. Set in a desolate seaside town, the film fuses social realism with fairytale, as it examines how a child's innocence and unconditional love can be a powerful and disruptive force for good.
