PLEASE LOVE ME follows a tap dancer through the last few days leading up to her final performance! Shot mostly on stunning 16mm film, highlighting the vivid bursts of color and paired with an erratic style of editing, Lea Rose Sebastianis' (PAYING FOR IT, IN A VIOLENT NATURE) debut short film plays like a modern-day DAISIES for the people-pleaser in all of us. Building upon the raw, transgressive edge of Toronto's underground film scene, PLEASE LOVE ME channels its scrappy punk energy into what might just be the boldest tap-dancing show you'll see! – Vincenzo Nappi
