Queer Vancouver: The Past, Present, and Future, follows lesbian couple Steph and Katie Burlton as they explore their local queer community. Through a series of interviews, they introduce a diverse group of activists, artists, and performers, focusing on the lives of queer women and other marginalized members of Vancouver's queer community. Steph and Katie meet some of the trailblazers who created lasting change over the past 50 years, as well as the next generation of queer community leaders who are doing important work in the city today. The documentary series celebrates the vibrant queer community in Vancouver, while discovering its history and imagining its future.
