It takes over an hour before there is even a whiff of same-sex attraction...was it worth the wait? No.

Apart from it being painfully slow, the story doesn't make sense - further hindered by some lousy dialogue.

Scarred war hero - rejected by a slutty widow of death - falls for a wandering gay boy...

No surprises as to why this has been forgotten and as to why Bowser started and finished his film career with this...
