CGiii Comment

It is impossible to 'like' this film...due to its subject matter.

It is a film that has to be admired...due to it subject matter.

Most will demand a backstory...there is none - that's the point. It doesn't matter.

A child has been abducted by an emotionless paedophile - he has been held captive for an unstated amount of years - and, is obedient with a sliver of defiance...that, in itself, is the horror.

Fuith is chilling to watch.

Schleinzer throws subtlety around everywhere...he plays with inappropriate humour. He resists judgment...

The ending...inspired.
