CGiii Comment

A quietly sad, disturbingly sinister tale - beautifully crafted by Holland - she of the excellent Europa Europa.

She lulls the audience into a false sense of security which is remarkable in that none of the characters are secure in themselves.

It leaves you thinking, not everything is neatly tied up by the end.

This is intelligent, precise film-making...A fine, fine film indeed.
