CGiii Comment

It's not as bad as they say...well, in truth, the first 3 episodes are!

When Michael Patrick King takes a step back [from writing and directing], things improve dramatically, even though he wrote the two [atrocious] feature films and a third of the original series.

He obviously has made no connection with the characters...20 years on! Nor with the intended audience...spoon-feeding [i.e. patronising] is not the way to go!

Anyway, we persevered...with Samantha gone, most of the humour went with her. Charlotte is even more irritating as the woman/child. Carrie is Carrie...still with the dreadful style and shoe obsession, accompanied by a few more wrinkles...but, it's Miranda who has had a complete personality change and brain the point of being [ludicrously] unrecognisable.

If the scripts don't become snappier, there will be no season 2...and, without the politically incorrect Samantha [to keep it snappy]...this politically-too-correct show offers nothing for its intended audience...middle-aged, wealthy women in a post-mid-life crisis!

The(ir) Blurb...

The series will follow Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte as they navigate the journey from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 30s to the even more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s.
