CGiii Comment

Elderly father and mother live in a chaotic apartment full of books and junk in Paris. He wants to write a screenplay entitled Psyché; she begins to show more and more irrefutable signs of senile dementia. The son wants to find a solution for the mother, while the father shows more and more impatience and detachment. In a perennial split-screen, separated by a waterproof and deforming membrane, the protagonist couple of the Gaspar Noé’s movie begins a challenge against time, space and reality, and is destined to be defeated. The world is now only books, movies and entire memories of a lifetime together, but maybe those are succumbing to the indefinite chaos of the world too. A story of love and death.
