Technically accomplished...it really does look cinematic (in places).
Alas...
Acting...weak. Writing...even weaker. Some of the dialogue is more stilted than stilt convention (if - indeed - there is such a thing).
There is no way that a nurse (especially in a London hospital) would get away with saying anything like what she says in this film. Instant dismissal.
As for the subject matter...massive. Without giving anything away...this addresses the differences between gender and sexuality...the desire to pass...and, the need to be truthful.
Most definitely, subjects worthy of a film...the writing just needed to be so much sharper.
