Two Birds in a Cage

Two Birds in a Cage is about a young homosexual man, Connor, hiding his sexuality in a deeply Catholic region of Australia. Living in a homophobic, isolated town, with his equally homophobic family, Connor finds himself completely alone in his struggles - Until he finds the courage to take a leap of faith and confide in his best friend, and true love, Sean. However, being such a close knit community, when a worker for Connor's father see's the two behaving in a somewhat intermit fashion, word spreads. Eventually, this leads to a gang of men, most likely led by Connor's father, Rob, abducting Sean and dragging him to an outlying field where they beat him and leave him to die. Luckily, Connor finds him just in time - Or does he?
