Not a patch on Cronenberg's Naked Lunch...
The cinematography is excellent, the actors miscast.
There is no passion and, therefore, no empathy (or even sympathy) for these real people - here, they all come over as self-indulgent, drug addicted, philandering phonies...which they possibly were!
If that was the intention - then, well done.
Walkow has assembled a fine cast with a weak script and very little understanding of the philosophy he was trying to convey.
At just 70 minutes, it is a failure on all levels. Shallow.
