It took two directors...to [dismally] reproduce every [dismal] cliché in the book.

A sample of the writing/humour:

"I'm just gonna have a fag first."
"Excuse me?""Oh my God, it means cigarette in England!"

And, that's as good as it gets!

Messieurs Ellis and MacKinnley need to either watch some low-budget, independent, high-on-talent films (and absorb every drop of inspiration they can garner)...or, rethink their film-making careers.

In truth, this is a vanity project that back-fired...[horrendously]...for Mr Ellis. Very few people can carry off being director/writer/producer and star! Mr Ellis is not one of those people...less may - indeed - mean more!

The(ir) Blurb...

After his family falls apart Joshua (writer/co-director/star Aaron Ellis) is forced to move to Canada to live with his estranged father. It is there he meets Jay (Justin Liles), a local tattoo artist who fled the violent actions of his parents back home in Alabama. Both young men, abandoned and lonely in their own way, find themselves falling for one another... until a pair of high school brats become intrude on the boys' growing relationship.
