CGiii Comment

When Monsieur Ozon puts his mind to it - he can make a damn fine film.

A darkly comic, dialogue-driven, table-turning take on the rites of passage...played to perfection under the control of some deliciously devious direction.

Who would have thought that suburban contemporary art would sit comfortably beside suburban normality seen through the eyes of an amicably manipulative, teenage writing protege...?!?!!?

Slick, clever and , compelling...the wry humour tinged with the cruel realism of hidden agendas will defy any empathy for any character - apart from one, the ultimate victim...sweet Suburbia is not so sweet after all.
