CGiii Comment

A deeply moving experience...watching history being made...by some incredibly bright, brave and surprising people.

In particular, Ted Olsen & David Boies...Republicans committed to equality - who would have thought?!?

There are those [i.e. buffoons] that have said/complained that this documentary is one-sided...no sh*t Sherlocks...the clue is in the title: The Case Against 8...stupidity is all around...

And, it is especially dangerous when it gets into the hands of law-makers as Proposition 8 did...well, and it took some time, but they got what they deserved...a severe kick in their nether regions...by supremely better minds.

The(ir) Blurb...

After the California Supreme Court ruled in May 2008 that same-sex couples could marry, a proposition was put to voters to amend the state constitution to define marriage as being between a man and a woman. After that proposition was passed a group decided to challenge the constitutionality of the amendment. This documentary follows the efforts of the plaintiffs and lawyers over four years as the case winds its way through the courts.
