"I caught feelings I never meant to catch." Now...that's a line!
Look...expectations weren't very high for this...and, what a surprise it turned out to be! It's not half bad...at all.
Amanaki Prescott-Faletau really does keep it all going...in the right direction. The directors do have a few stumbles...but, hey, they are just stumbles!
Pronouns are a problems, especially the they/them...those kill grammar! Instead...just say your pronoun is your name, it works...grammatically correct...that, alone, takes away some of the inherent cruelty.
Definitely...worth a watch.

The(ir) Blurb...
In the sea of cliques at her New Zealand high school, Lisa stands out. Two Spirited and full of fast wit, Lisa nimbly leads us through tough interactions with thick-headed jocks, mean girls, and high school cringe. As she struggles to make herself understood by her mother and dodges punches thrown by a vengeful bully, Lisa makes a connection with rugby star Mosso. Can she trust him to live up to her fairy tale?
Inky Pinky Ponky fits neatly into the classic high school genre alongside She’s All That and The Breakfast Club, but nudges the basic film tropes into new territory. This film is light on the heart but does not shy away from real truths. - Lizzie Doria
