Wow...Cilla Black: ruthless and ambitious. Who would have thought?!?

Yes, it is about Cilla...but, Brian Epstein features heavily (and more interestingly). Cilla's story is the usual rags to riches...whereas Brian goes from riches to the dregs of society!

A decent production - perhaps, a little too kind to Ms Black. There's no faulting any of the performances...Sheridan Smith excels.

Definitely worth the effort.

RIP Cilla.
