On paper...this sounds pretty terrible.
In reality...it works...like a dream.
Who doesn't need a little bit of 'fabulous' in their lives? We most certainly do!
And, no...don't go thinking that this is a Drag Race rip-off...far from it...this is a profoundly emotional, technicolor rollercoaster ride.
The 'Queens' dish out make-up and feathers and glitter by the bucket load...and, they offer a shoulder to lean on, to cry upon...and, words of kindness and words of support...and, a makeover like no other.
This is therapy at its most dashing...whoever thought that this sheer flamboyance would help build confidencies and break down walls...is - in our humble opinion - an absolute genius.
From the rough-as-they-come to the shiest-as-they-go, each and every participant throws themselves in...and, the smiles on their faces afterwards is a joy to behold.
Tears, happiness and glitter...who could ask for anything more!?!
