CGiii Comment
Isn't about time that film-makers realised that there is no changing people's hardcore, opinionated minds?
If they believe in what they believe in them let them believe it...it's called freedom!
Giving them film-time is simply wasting time and space - it simply gives them a platform to spout their discrimination.
Ignore them.
Dong tries to give a balanced debate - all he succeeds in doing is shooting himself in the foot.
Mr Dong - you do too much of the technical stuff and not enough of the cerebral stuff.
No trailer...
The(ir) Blurb...
In his new feature documentary, Family Fundamentals, filmmaker Arthur Dong (Licensed to Kill, Coming Out Under Fire) continues his quest to understand American contempt for homosexuality and its effects on family, culture and the nation's political landscape. Armed with a digital camera, Dong takes viewers into the private, and sometimes very public lives, of three conservative Christian families with gay and lesbian children.
