Well...all those high hopes vanish in next to no-time...

The writing is worse than a ceremonial douche with highly concentrated sulphuric acid. There is no retention here, the shit keeps on pouring out.

Tomlin's dippy-hippy, Fonda's stiff manikin - ultra-effective laxatives.

As for the subplots...the 'kids' - well, they needn't have bothered.

Such potential, all that money...squandered because the producers (Fonda, Tomlin et al.) are - let's be truthful now - over-the-hill and out-of-touch.

Still...it's still running, 7 seasons!
