Consuela doesn't mince her words...she hides nothing. She admits to everything.
There's no structure to the film...there's little structure to a life nearing its completion.
Over the years, Consuela has been constructed...via a mass of major surgeries, bar one - that piece of the anatomy that defines a man - remains. Prominently.
No point in getting rid of the equipment that makes you money, honey. She's a transwoman...but, still a man.
And, soon, she is to be deconstructed...because, the ravages of HIV/AIDS has made the silicon transplants blatant and uncomfortable.
Not the easiest film to watch...the truth is brutal, the decline is palpable.
Consuela...RIP.
