CGiii Comment

Trevor Anderson is a highly accomplished short filmmaker [we love him]. This is his debut feature.

He played it - quite surprisingly - safe. Too safe.

Yes...the darkness looms throughout...but, [too] fleetingly so. We need concrete. We need that devastation smashed into our faces...of what addiction/alcoholism is...on the collateral those! If Robin can take it...so, can [we] the audience. To be as challenging as that is...is a director's 2-way-street! Run wild, run free...just, run! You wrote it, you know it...fly. Fly higher!

Hopefully, this is just part 1 of an incredible story...with part 2, be bold, brave adventurous...and, retain the incredible talent of Vaughan Murrae.

Notes...the 'seating' line [near, far] was classic. The music was just about awful...but, acceptable, considering the context!

Worthing watching...with notes!

The(ir) Blurb...

When new kid Robin arrives at a small-town middle school in 1987, the other students have one question: "are you a boy or a girl?" Robin forges a complicated bond with the school bully, making increasingly dangerous choices to fit in – and must soon answer a bigger question: "What kind of person am I?"
