You have got to be f**king joking...
A bunch of pornographers and a few faux academics try to legitimise their pornographic 'craft' - as if it takes talent to make a porn film! Take out all the 'examples' of their 'craft' and this film would still be 30 minutes too long!
This is a badly made film, about objectionable people who gush endlessly about porn, with the pretense that this is important 'gay' social/contemporary history. It's not! It's a threadbare account of a man who exploited young men...it's a diatribe by those who still benefit from such exploitation...spending time in the company of these men is a thoroughly unpalatable experience!
And...Elizabeth Birch, executive director of the human rights campaign, who states that Chuck Holmes did so much for the LGBT community and - wait for it - that any young person could do no better than to grow up and become a 'Chuck Holmes'...a pornographer...he did fuck all for the LGBT community (apart from supplying a few money shots for the 'G' community's gratification), he did it all for his bank balance...you stupid, deluded dimwit...call yourself a spokesperson?!? Call in damage control! Have you ever heard of ill-gotten gains?

Seed Money is the story of Chuck Holmes, a San Francisco pornographer turned philanthropist. Holmes helped shaped and create gay identity in the years after Stonewall, and became a founder of gay advocacy groups like the Human Rights Campaign and the LGBT Victory Fund, only to find later in life that while his money was welcome in philanthropic circles, he wasn't.
