CGiii Comment

This is Joof's first feature...she landed Mads Mikkelsen for the lead role, that's a coup – he really does have one of cinema’s most interesting faces...and, he can act.

An enjoyable film – let down by some feminine wiles and ridiculous romanticism.

The ridiculous ending spoils it - the dashing knight on his sturdy steed – it doesn’t quite wash.

It’s the same old story – can a woman write a gay man? Direct a gay man?

Erm...with few exceptions – NO.

And...alas, this is no exception.
