Sonny

Country: USA, Language: English, 110 mins

  • Director: Nicolas Cage
  • Writer: John Carlen
  • Producer: Paul Brooks; Nicolas Cage

CGiii Comment

Cage directs and produces and shows his face...

He fails to disentangle what is a thoroughly muddled script.

The acting is fine... Franco does like playing it gay...but, when the subplots become more interesting than the central story - you just know that the director has lost control.

Cage is not a director - this is the evidence.
