The biggest surprise is that Peck has made a follow-up, 13 years later, a documentary on the making of...why on earth would he do that?

It's not as if the original film was any good. And, surprise, surprise - this is also bollocks - nothing, absolutely nothing, has been learned in the 13 years - the same dark drudgery.

It's almost an apology - an apology for showing too much tape spindle, blurry photographs - a self-indulgent memoir based around an amateur home movie - pretension personified.

His directorial catalogue is a testament to un-accomplishment.
