CGiii Comment

There's a damn fine idea behind this film...but...

It has many faults: music, sound, editing...although there is one outstanding edit...the jump cuts are atrocious (and unnecessary).

A fine scene involving a deaf chap was ruined by some seriously grotesque music...a storyline that arose out of nothing and disappeared without trace...it was worthy of more investigation.

Then, just when you start warming towards the film (again)...it goes off on a tangent, a 'musical' interlude involving a comic storyline...

We repeat: There's a damn fine idea behind this film...

Friends...one gay and one not-so-straight, face the end of the world...one is a virgin, the other can help.

The two actors do an impeccable job...they have charisma, there's on-screen chemistry...both are very pleasant on the eye.

Quintero has a talent...it is in desperate need of refinement. If he can have it 'refined' on these kind of budgets...then, a glorious career could beckon. He certainly knows how to get the best out of his actors.

It's a fine film...with faults. It could have - quite easily - been fantastic. Focus!!!
